What’s Next? (For Committee Based Volunteers Only)

After your application is received, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within 72 hours. If your application is accepted, you will:

Complete a short telephone interview with the Program Director

AND

Review the volunteer handbook, submit the signature page and identifying documents.

After satisfactory completion of required items, your name will be entered into our volunteer database. If you have been asked to be assigned to a committee, you will receive contact from the committee head within 7 business days of being accepted as a Telic volunteer.

** Please remember, although we are extremely grateful for your interest in volunteering with Telic Empowerment, completing a volunteer registration does not guarantee you a position. All registrations will be reviewed by Telic Empowerment. Approved volunteers will be contacted, offered an interview, provided the volunteer handbook, and instructions for training and assignments. What’s Next? (For Event Based Volunteers Only)

After your application is received, you will receive an email with details about a virtual event volunteer training.  (This is a mandatory part of participation in a volunteer assignment.  If a volunteer can’t attend, they can make arrangements to attend an alternate training with the program director.)

Volunteers should arrive at their event according to their scheduled time, and the program director will direct them to their volunteer assignment (if they haven’t been given the assignment prior to the event). Volunteers are expected to complete their duties according to the specifications outlined in the volunteer training and attend to the participants according to the TELIC  Way, which is explained in detail during the training, as well.
